PayLeap’s First Priority: Transaction Security

PayLeap is committed to our merchants and our merchants’ customers. You can rest assured that we use the highest available encryption technology and internal security practices available for internet-based transaction processing. Our networks are monitored 24/7 for any security related issues. We also use leading hardware to ensure that your data is secure.

PCI Compliance for Our Partners

All transactions completed by PayLeap on behalf of our clients adhere to PCI compliancy regulations. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) applies to every organization that processes credit or debit card information, including merchants and third-party service providers that store, process or transmit credit card/debit card data. If you are one of the above, PCI Compliance is not a suggestion; it is now a requirement. Credit card companies and acquiring banks can levy stiff fines and remove the merchant's ability to process credit card transactions until the merchant is PCI compliant

CISP Compliance

The Visa CISP (Cardholder Information Security Program) Payment Application Best Practices established a set of the 13 best practices designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised. These practices are directed to assist software vendors to create secure payment applications that help merchants and service providers comply with CISP. PayLeap is in full compliance with CISP. Information Exchange, a firm specializing in data security and compliance validation conducted the audit.

“In April 2000, Visa announced the launch of its Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP). Approved in October 1999 and mandated June 2001. CISP defines a standard of due care for securing Visa cardholder data, wherever it is located. CISP compliance has been required of all entities storing, processing, or transmitting Visa cardholder data. Members must comply with CISP and are responsible for ensuring the compliance of their merchants and agents--whether they support Issuing or Acquiring activity--for all payment channels, including retail (brick-and-mortar), mail/telephone-order, and e-commerce.”
