.NET Developer
A leader in online payment processing is seeking a .NET developer to join our staff. The job consists of primarily managing the existing code base of our applications which includes updates and improvements on exisitng systems and development of added features. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development and management of web based applications.
Job Purpose:
Optimizes customer satisfaction by developing, implementing, and maintaining Web-based applications.
Duties:
Administer development and production environments including websites and databases.
Develop Web applications.
Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by contributing to the design, development, and implementation of business applications systems.
Handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions.
Assess risk and impact on the existing system(s) that may arise due to any requirement or functional change.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers; preparing reusable component design.
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; developing common site infrastructure; maintaining dynamic data for site.
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools; responding to support and maintenance requests.
Updates job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Strong database experience with MS SQL Server.
Must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as solid listening skills.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and work through backlog items with minimal management.
Must possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills along with the ability to learn quickly.
Skills/Qualifications:
Active Server Pages, SQL Server, Internet Technologies, Software Design, Software Requirements, Web User Interface Design, Foster Teamwork, Software Development Process, Web Programming Skills, Verbal Communication, JavaScript, VB.NET, C# and .NET Framework.
